Jay-Z and Coldplay to headline New Years Eve show at the Barclay Center!
After an impressive 8 sold out shows at the Barclay Center over earlier this fall, Jay-Z is looking for a repeat come New Years Eve. It has just been announced on Jay-Z site (lifeandtimes.com) that Jay-Z and Coldpla will headline a concert at the Barclay Center on Dec. 31st.
Coldplay also announced it on their own site (coldplay.com) about the highly anticipated show. ‘We’re pleased to announce that, on Monday, 31 December, Coldplay will round off a memorable year by performing a very special co-headline show with Jay-Z at Barclays Center, Brooklyn.’
They also state- ‘This will be the second time in two years that Coldplay has celebrated new year with long-term friend and collaborator JAY Z, the band having shared the bill with him at a Las Vegas concert in 2010. More recently, JAY Z performed onstage with Coldplay at the spectacular London 2012 Paralympic Games Closing Ceremony.’
Tickets for the show go on sale November 17th. We will be in the building!

Here in NYC, anyone who is part of the GLBT community knows that Chelsea is one of the premier spots for the gay lifestyle. In Chelsea, there is a restaurant by the name of BBQs. BBQs is a popular chain restaurant in the city. Well this particular BBQs on W. 23rd street has predominantly gay patrons. So hear is the juicy part:
A VERY popular gospel singer was spotted inside this restaurant with three individuals. All of the three individuals appeared to be of the gay lifestyle as well. This is baffling, because why would the singer who publicly denounces homosexuality all the time, be caught dead in public with the gay community. Rumors of the singer being gay has plagued him from years. HINT: He has made his way from the stage to TV in recent years.
Lala Vasquez and Carmelo Anthony tied the knot!!!
Former MTV VJ Lala Vasquez, 30 and NBA superstar Carmelo Anthony, 26 got married here in New York City. The ceremony took place on July 10, 2010. Some of the guests included Kelly Rowland, Terrance and Rosci (106 & Park), Serena Williams, and more. The bride wore Vera Wang. The couple had been engaged for 5 years, and Anthony proposed to his wife with a 5 carat ring. According to US weekly, 320 people attended the wedding als including her pals Kim Kardashian, and Ciara. Lala Vasquez lost 13 pounds to make sure she had the perfect fit for her wedding dress.
