Nene Leakes will be launching a fashion line!
What is it that Nene Leakes can’t do? She recently announced her new NBC sitcom, her return for a 5th season of The Real Housewives of ATL, and now she will add fashion designer to her resume. The veteran reality star/actress has “signed with global brand licensing agency Beanstalk to make her more into fashion,” according to THR. Beanstalk says they want to “leverage Nene’s position in pop culture to offer community fashion-forward, affordable apparel and accessories, designed to empower women to walk into a room and ‘own it’, like Nene herself.” We are excited for Nene. She is really turning this 15 minutes of fame. We are proud of you Nene, and will be looking forward to seeing your line in stores soon.
Congrats! Nene Leakes nabs a role on new NBC sitcom!
Nene Leakes is a force to be reckoned with. After commanding the highest salary of all the Bravo housewives, she now has been casted in an NBC pilot, The New Normal, that has been picked up for the upcoming TV season.
The show is a new Ryan Murphy comedy, about a gay couple trying to start a family.
On the red carpet for NBC’s upfront presentations, the reality-star-tuned-actress shared details about her character, telling reporters:
“I’m Rocky, one of the gay guy’s assistants. I take it very personal, honey, if you talk about my gays, honey. Only I can talk about them and I’m fabulous. She’s very different from Roz Washington on Glee; she’s always in workout outfits and sneakers. Rocky wears high heels every day. This is very fitting for me because in my real life, you don’t mess with my gays, honey. I don’t play that.”
She reveals her future about her bread and butter Real Housewives of ATL, and Glee:
“I hope to stay on Glee, I hope to still be a Housewife and I hope to do The New Normal. I just want to do it all! Why not? I’m only going to be young for a little while longer.”

Nicole Richie’s return to NBC’s “Chuck”
Socialite and sometimes actress, Nicole Richie, will be making her return back to television this fall. Nicole will return back to NBC’s “Chuck” where she first guest-starred in 2008. Richie is supposed to play a character where she is held underground at the CIA base when things go completely wrong with a prison transfer. The last time Richie was regularly on television is when she starred in “The Simple Life” with Paris Hilton from 2003-2007. Look out for the 4th season premiere of “Chuck” on NBC this fall.
“The Office” actress marries her beau Lee Kirk!!
Jenna Fischer who plays Pam on the NBC hit show “The Office” got married to Lee Kirk in a summer wedding. The wedding took place in Malibu, CA. Some of Fischer’s co-stars from “The Office” were in attendance. According to US Magazine, Fischer and Kirk got married on July 3rd, 2010. Fischer and Kirk started dating in January 2008. This is the first marriage for Lee Kirk, and Jenna Fischer’s second marriage. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE NEWLYWEDS! You can catch the seventh season of “The Office this fall on NBC!!
