The nominations are in……2011 MTV Video Music Awards!!!


The 2011 MTV Video Music Awards nominations are in, and Katy Perry leads the pack with 9 nominations.  She definitely deserves, she has sold over a million copies domestically of her album “Teenage Dream”.  All of her singles been Top 5 hits, with the first four consecutively hitting the #1 spot.  Adele, and Kanye West come in a close second with 7 nominations a piece.  Katy Perry and Adele are  both nominated in the Video Of The  Year category with “Rolling In The Deep”, and “Firework”.  Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, and Beyonce are nominated for three VMAs a piece.  Congratulations to all the nominees.  The ceremony takes place Aug. 28th at the Nokia Theatre.
