It has been a long time since we have seen Big Boi and Andre 300 (collectively, Outkast) perform together. Well according to Diddy’s cable channel, Revolt TV, Outkast will reunite on the stage next year. The performances (at multiple festival dates) will mark Outkast’s first appearances onstage since 2004 and coincide with the 20-year anniversary of their debut album, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik.
Earlier this year, Big Boi told Power 106 “We’ve been kind of discussing some things (reunion)…Once we map it out, we’ll make an announcement. But we’ll see. It’s 20 years, man … I wanna see it too, I definitely wanna see it too. Mum’s the word right now, but we gon’ see.”
Rapper Big Boi did something a little bit different when it came to giving his daughter her 16th birthday present. His daughter will be featured on the new season of MTV’s “My Super Sweet Sixteen” show. If you haven’t seen that show, the big present that all of the 16 year olds get are cars. Well, Big Boi is giving his daughter, a record label. This is what he said to about his gift to his daughter:
“My daughter just turned 16 years old, and you can see it on MTV’s “My Super Sweet Sixteen”, where they get cars, and things that depreciate and just don’t mean nothing. I wanted to give my child something that she can grow and build and nurture. So I gave her, her own label”.
No word yet on when the episode will premiere on MTV.
